Our client is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. With offices all over the world and a user base of more than 35,000, they have one of the most sophisticated network environment and stringent requirements for applications that run on their network.
The Challenges
Our client was already using a third party CHE Management System however the system lacked in many areas e.g. The existing system did not provide management with benchmark data as to the success of each event. The system lacked the ability to properly cater to the workflow involved in making the event successful. It further lacked the ability to integrate with their existing expense reporting and financial systems.
The Solution
CHEMS is an innovative web based application focused on collaborative event management. CHEMS has been architected to run as an intranet application. Every piece of information displayed is dynamically generated from a database and, in some cases is linked to other existing systems. Since most of the work in a CHE Event is done by sales rep on the run the application has been optimized to yield acceptable response times at modem speeds (56K).
